The Pro Collar is an inflatable, soft alternative to the hard plastic veterinary lampshade collar.
It ships in a small, flat box or envelope, which saves you money. Attached comfortably around
your dog's neck without needing to go over the head (a bonus if your pet has eye or ear injuries).
Fully adjustable two ways; inflate it to the desired thickness, then adjust the Velcro strap to
adjust under your dog's chin.
Prevents dogs from biting or licking eczema wounds, bandages,
stiching, and hot spots while preserving a natural sleeping and eating position. It is therefore
extremely well tolerated, in particular with cats, who can continue their outside walks, as usual,
without being in danger. Both dogs and cats seem to forget its presence once wearing the
ProCollar ®.
Constructed of tough high-frequency welded PVC inside a removable washable
cover. Easy-off with a zipper.
Vision and feeding habits are not impaired by the ProCollar ® .
It also gives the animal a great resting position. The ProCollar ® acts as a support for the dog's
head, just like a made-to-order cushion. Another great advantage of the ProCollar ® is that it
will not damage your furniture or mark your walls as is often the case with the traditional
Elizabethan collar.
No more banging into walls, floor and your legs (ouch!). No more difficulty
with eating or getting comfortable. Just relaxing naps and natural posture, while wounds heal.
XSmall – Teacup breeds and cats, necks up to 6 inches
Small – Jack Russels, Shelties, necks 6-10
inches
Medium – Border
collies, Spaniels, necks 10-13 inches (shown on Boston Terrier)
Large – Labs, Goldens, necks 13-18
inches (shown on yellow Lab and Basset Hound)
XLarge – Rotts, Mastiffs, Great Danes, necks 18 inches and up
Some breeds are tricky,
like the Greyhounds, because their neck is so long. They fit between a medium and a large. If you
have questions about which size to order, call 972-712-2812.
Note: This collar works best when the wound is
nearer the head, and may not prevent biting, licking or chewing of the front
paws. This collar works best on stockier dogs. Long, slender dogs with long
noses can sometimes get around the collar.
