"Maggie had her first taste of her PuppyCake tonight.  To say that it was positively received would be a gross understatement.  I held the frosted cupcake out to her, expecting that she would take a tentative little nibble out of it to check it out first (her standard procedure in such cases).  But no, that's not what she did.  She lunged at it and took the whole thing!  Then she struggled mightily to keep it all in her mouth as she consumed it.  She was mostly successful, and it was hilarious to watch. Maggie is a very smart girl, and soon noticed that there was more of the same on the counter.  She gave me "the eye" until I relented and gave her a second cupcake.  This time I cut it in half before offering it to her.  She made those disappear in very short order.  Then I put the frosting bowl on the floor and she gave it a very thorough cleaning.  I doubt that she left more than a dozen yogurt molecules on it.  (Oh, and she enjoyed licking out the batter bowl, too!)
